With this post I decided to show you the little doggies most important job these days. As you can see she takes her job as a study partner and mental support for stressed students very seriously and you have to say that she is very good at it.
Life is going at it's normal pace here in Denmark, school takes up a lot of time and christmas is getting closer. We got a very nice visit recently when Valdi's brother Fannar came and spent the weekend with us. He was loaded with all sorts of gifts and goodies from Iceland and we were very happy with them. We went to the zoo, it was the first time there for the both of them.
There isn't alot happening on the horse front at the moment but instead there is plenty happening on the dog training front, Dís is well on the way with the weave training and we are hoping to be ready to compete in the new year. I have taken the video camera along to some training sessions so you can see the current state of our weave training.
This weekend the Nordic Agility Championships were held in Gladsaxe, which is only 20 minutes away, so of course we went to watch. The dogs we saw very really good, and there very many very good teams, but you really have to say that the Finnish team came, saw and concored. They had the best team in small and medium classes and got 2. in large, beaten by a super good team from Denmark. Finland also got gold and silver in the individual large, and that was the same competitor with two dogs. Valdi took some videos of interesting and good dogs on his new iphone 4, and you can't say that the video quality is bad, it's totaly awesome !
Here is the Finnish competitor, Janota Leinonen with her dog Hitti, they were the defending champions and they succeded in defending it briliantly.
